Hepzibah has a rich history of proclaiming the gospel message for over one hundred and sixty years, but we believe that our best years lie ahead. We are committed to teaching people the word of God and helping them discover how they can apply it to their lives. Hepzibah Baptist Church is known as the church at the crossroads. This has both a physical and spiritual significance. Physically we are located at the crossroads of Renfroe road and Stemley Road. Spiritually we believe that we exist as a church to meet people at the crossroads of life.
Life’s crossroads may be some dramatic moment of time or a tragedy that strikes out of nowhere. We also believe that life’s crossroads are encountered everyday as we make small and significant decisions. Those daily decisions determine our character and mold our future. That’s why we need the wisdom of God’s word to shape our minds and transform our hearts
At Hepzibah you’ll discover that God’s Word is not just something we honor, but it is our textbook for study and our guidebook for life. In it we discover the way of eternal life and the wisdom for abundant life. We’d like for you to join us in this journey.
